It was 1994 and they had just come back from seeing the Smashing Pumpkins at the Fillmore. The concrete was still wet; Sarah and Marty were still high. They haven't thought of each other for ten years now.

Lisa & Jim & Lisa & Kenny

At first, Lisa thought Jim was the man of her dreams. They loved old movies, vegetarian food, and children. Then, she met Kenny. He loved Lisa and only Lisa.

Chip loves Don

They met at a bar through mutual friends. After a month of coy give and take, they finally went on a date.

Chip hasn't been away from Don for more than a few days since that first dinner together three years ago.

Bill + Mary C.

Their parents didn't approve of the relationship. Bill proposed to Mary on Mount Tam. She said yes. They eloped, moved to Charlotte, and lived happily ever after. The family still disapproves.

Fred loves Chris 2005

Two years later, they spent their nights arguing over who would get the DVD player. Chris won, but Fred kept the television.

Robb is about to lose his house as result of the recession. He's drinking more than ever before, but his wife still loves him.

Tess

She thinks about her mother every time she smokes a cigarette, slowly killing herself.

Barton

Bart still lives in Santa Cruz. He surfs almost every day. He has two daughters now. Life is good.
